Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with proven expertise in both design and implementation of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The successful candidate will not only be responsible for producing and editing high-quality electrical drawings and designs, but also for ensuring their effective execution on-site. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to bridge the gap between design office and field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and revise electrical system designs including layouts, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and specifications. 

• Ensure all electrical drawings and documents are prepared to a high degree of accuracy and clarity using AutoCAD and Revit (MEP). 

• Implement electrical designs on-site, coordinating with contractors and site teams to ensure installation matches design intent. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, codes, and project standards. 

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, verify installations, and enforce quality control. 

• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and material proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements. 

• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems into the overall project design. 

• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and material specifications related to electrical works. 

• Maintain all project revisions in a BIM environment, ensuring documents are up-to-date and coordinated. 

Preferred Attributes: 

• Hands-on professional who can transition seamlessly between design desk and construction site. 

• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in dynamic on-site environments. 

• Excellent communication and team coordination abilities. 

• Experience with large-scale real estate or mixed-use developments is a plus.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in electrical design and implementation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (MEP) is mandatory. 

• Familiarity with BIM systems and collaborative workflows is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, backup systems, fire alarms, and low-voltage networks. 

• Ability to manage projects from design to commissioning, balancing office and site responsibilities.
