Job Summary:- The Electrical Engineer – Construction is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and executing electrical installation works at construction sites while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical construction and installation activities at project sites.

• Review electrical designs, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications before execution.

• Ensure electrical works are completed according to project requirements, standards, and safety procedures.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation.

• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve construction issues.

• Monitor project schedules, progress, and resource utilization.

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and construction regulations.

• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.

• Review contractor work quality and approve completed electrical installations.

• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

Education:

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience:-

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical construction projects.

• Experience in building, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Project coordination and site supervision skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
