Naflet hotel is a top-notch world-class hotel originally located in Adama. Currently, Naflet Hotel has completed its preparation to inaugurate operation at Addis Ababa, Arada Park. The Hotel aspires to be internationally franchised chain hotel by building renowned brand through high level of service excellence.  

To attain this goal, the hotel is looking for talented and passionate managers to the following positions.

POSITION PURPOSE:  

Supervise the engineering and maintenance tasks of the hotel. Plan, organize &, coordinate preventive maintenance operations and innovative solution of related problems of the hotel engineering and maintenance department.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Plan, implement, and monitor maintenance plans for building, kitchen appliances, generators and equipment.  

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of hotel engineering and maintenance functions.  

• Ensure the smooth flow of the entire hotel operations relating to his/her specific area of responsibility.  

• Assist in the preparation of the goals & objectives for his/her department and assist other departments.  

• Ensure the proper prevention and control of properties of Naflet Hotel   

• Effectively work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.  

• Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, its employees, and its customers.  

• Periodically report the maintenance needs to the Chief Engineering and Maintenance and GM.  

• Maintain building, equipment, and hotel surrounding area in sound working order.  

• Enforce safety and security standards in line with the hotel policy and government regulations.  

• Direct and monitor the activities of maintenance team 

• Focusing on preventive maintenance and innovative solution to occurred problems 

• Preparing checklist and follow them strictly without being ordered to do so 

• ensure consistent supply of electric power, water by keeping in touch with related lines 

Job Requirements

Required Qualification:  

• College Diploma or TVET Level IV or BSc Degree in mechanical or/and electromechanical engineering or any related field from recognized institute.  

• Three or more years of experience as a general maintenance expert/officer in a hotel is required.  

• Competent and capable to function in an individual and a team setting.  

• Ability to work under pressure.  

• Willingness to work extended hours and on holidays.
