STEMpower invites applications from all qualified persons, with a strong preference for persons with disabilities, for the position of Entrepreneurship Trainer under the “We Can Work Program” 2026 in Legetafo Sheggar City.
The program, implemented in partnership with Light for the World (LFTW), aims to promote inclusive employment opportunities and economic empowerment for persons with disabilities (PWDs) by strengthening their skills, employability, workplace readiness, and income-generating abilities through practical and inclusive training.
Job Requirements
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Health, or related social science fields.
Experience: 5-8 years of proven work experience in delivering training, facilitation, or entrepreneurship/business skills development activities.
Fluency in Afan Oromo (both spoken and written) and Amharic is mandatory
Working knowledge of English is considered an added advantage.
Strong preference for experience working with people with disabilities or in inclusive programs.
Demonstrated skills in preparing training materials, delivering interactive and participatory sessions, facilitating group discussions, practical exercises, assessing progress, and reporting.
Strong communication, facilitation, and group management skills.
Commitment to disability inclusion, ethical standards, safeguarding, gender equality, and creating a respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment.
