We are seeking an experienced ERP Technical Lead with deep expertise in Odoo to oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of our ERP solutions. You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with business analysts, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, high-performance ERP systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Odoo customization, integration, and optimization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Define and drive the ERP technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Lead the design and implementation of custom Odoo modules, APIs, and integrations.

• Evaluate and recommend third-party tools, plugins, and technologies to enhance Odoo functionality.

• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the ERP system.

• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo development.

Team & Project Management

• Mentor and guide a team of Odoo developers, providing technical direction.

• Collaborate with ERP implementers, stakeholders, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation.

• Oversee data migrations, system upgrades, and deployment processes.

Development & Optimization

• Architect and develop advanced Odoo customizations (backend logic, workflows, reports, dashboards).

• Optimize PostgreSQL queries, indexing, and server performance.

• Implement REST/XML-RPC APIs for seamless integration with external systems (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, e-commerce).

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

• Ensure automated testing (CI/CD) and DevOps best practices (Docker, Git, and Odoo.sh).

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain technical documentation (system architecture, module specs, API guides).

• Ensure compliance with data security and ERP governance standards.

• Stay updated with the latest Odoo releases, patches, and industry trends.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years in ERP development, with 5+ years specializing in Odoo (v13-v17).

• Expert-level Python programming and Odoo framework mastery.

• Strong experience in PostgreSQL optimization and database design.

• Proven track record in leading ERP/Odoo implementation projects.

• Deep knowledge of Odoo module development.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS frameworks).

• Strong understanding of ERP business processes (Accounting, Inventory, Sales, HR, and Manufacturing).

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

• Leadership abilities with strong communication and stakeholder management.
