Job Summary

Hajuta Trading PLC is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to operate excavating equipment for construction and related site activities.

Job Requirements

• Education: Relevant operator license or competency certificate.

• Experience: Previous practical experience operating excavators.

• Job Type: Full time

• Location: Addis Ababa, Saris to Gotera Road, next to Kadisco Building

• Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently for digging, loading, trenching and site preparation.

• Inspect the machine before and after each shift and report defects promptly.

• Perform routine checks of fuel, lubricants, hydraulics and operating controls.

• Follow site plans, supervisor instructions and safety procedures.

• Maintain accurate daily operating and maintenance records.

• Coordinate with ground personnel and other equipment operators.

• Keep the machine and work area clean and secure.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of equipment safety and basic preventive maintenance.

• Ability to work responsibly with limited supervision.
