Established in 2019, Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through support in the areas of Health, Education and Policy Advocacy
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and executive support to a senior-level leader. This role is responsible for managing the executive's calendar, coordinating meetings and travel, handling sensitive information, and serving as a trusted partner and gatekeeper. The Executive Assistant must have exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in Affan Oromo, Amharic, and English, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the executive's office.
Manage scheduling for company executives
Draft, review and send communications on behalf of company executives
Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executive
Prioritize emails and respond when necessary
Coordinate travel arrangements
Maintain various records and documents for company executive
Perform other duties as assigned by the executives
Location: Deborah Foundation, Head Office, Bole behind Sur construction
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Proven proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Affan Oromo, Amharic, and English
Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in all three languages
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Proficient in using office productivity software, calendar management tools, and other administrative
technologies
Adaptable, proactive, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive, professional demeanor

Gross salary ETB 10,000.00
