Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry S.C., formerly known as Kadisco Chemical Industry PLC, is a privately owned company located in the Akaki Kality Industrial Zone of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The company's history dates to the late 1960s, when it started as a small automotive parts dealership operating in one of the busiest commercial areas of Addis Ababa.

In 1979, the company was officially registered as a manufacturer of adhesives and glue. Over the years, Kadisco expanded its operations and gradually developed into one of Ethiopia's leading paint manufacturers, diversifying its product portfolio and strengthening its market presence.

In February 2015, Asian Paints Ltd. acquired a 51% stake in Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry S.C., and the company subsequently became known as Kadisco Asian Paints. Asian Paints is India's leading paint company and the second-largest paint company in Asia. The company has built a strong reputation for professionalism, innovation, rapid growth, and creating long-term shareholder value.

Job Requirements

• Education: Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical service.

• Required Quantity: 1

• Work Location: Addis Ababa HQ, with frequent travel to agent/branch locations in different cities

• Joining Time: Immediately

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission Color World/tinting machines at agent and branch locations.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.

• Diagnoses and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related machine problems.

• Install, update, and configure machine software and related applications.

• Repair or replace faulty electrical and electronic components as required.

• Provide on-site technical support to agents, branches, and users.

• Conduct regular machine inspections and ensure machines are operating properly.

• Train users on basic machine operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance.

• Maintain service, maintenance, installation, and spare-parts records.

• Coordinate with Sales and other concerned teams to resolve technical issues quickly.

• Travel to different cities to provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of electrical and electronic components.

• Good computer and software installation/configuration skills.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

• Immediate availability is preferred.
