Position:
Organization: Ethiopian Capital Market Authority
CCTV and Security operations is responsible for overseeing the effective operation of CCTV and security administration systems within the Authority. This role ensures continuous monitoring, incident response coordination, reporting, and alignment with the Authority’s safety standards. Acting as the key link between facility operations and security oversight, the officer supports the protection of assets, staff, and visitors by maintaining surveillance infrastructure and implementing proactive security measures under the broader facility management function.
Monitor and coordinate all security administrative processes, including access control, visitor logs, and incident reporting.
Ensure CCTV footage retrieval, archiving, and storage are managed in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with the security team to identify and respond to on-site breaches, safety alerts, and surveillance-detected irregularities.
Conduct regular audits and functionality checks of CCTV systems to identify performance issues, blind spots, or equipment failures, coordinate repairs or upgrades as necessary.
Provide surveillance-based reports and analytics to support broader facility management planning (e.g., foot traffic analysis, risk-prone zones).
Ensure adherence to data protection laws and internal guidelines related to monitoring, data storage, and privacy rights.
Prepare detailed reports and proposals based on surveillance findings, incident trends, and security observations to recommend enhancements in physical security and operational procedures.
Office Maintenance Responsibilities
Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of office infrastructure, utilities, and fixtures (e.g., lighting, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems).
Respond promptly to repair and maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to office operations.
Maintain updated logs of maintenance activities, service schedules, and vendor performance.
Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to manage and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
Ensure all office equipment and facilities meet safety and operational standards through regular inspections and checks.
General Responsibilities
Coordinate with other facility management functions to ensure integrated support services across departments.
Support emergency response coordination and ensure preparedness in case of incidents involving security, transport, or infrastructure.
Handle other administrative duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
What We Do
Ethiopian Capital Market Authority was established by Capital Market Proclamation No 1248/2021 as an autonomous Federal Regulatory Authority. One of the major objectives of ECMA is to ensure the existence of a capital market environment in which securities can be issued and traded in an orderly, fair, and efficient manner. ECMA, as a regulatory authority, grants licenses to any person to operate as a security exchange, derivative exchange, security depository and clearing company, capital market service provider, over-the-counter trading facility, or any other activity deemed by ECMA as a regulated activity under its jurisdiction. ECMA regulates and oversees trading in primary and secondary markets of securities, the use of electronic trading platforms that deal with securities and gives recognition and oversees the activities of self-regulatory organizations.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Information Technology, or a field related to the Job function from an Accredited or recognized learning institution.
2 years of relevant experience.
