Job Summary

The Retail Sales Officer is pivotal in delivering customer service while achieving sales targets. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, promoting products, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience/ retailing sales.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or with related field of study

Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a sales role especially exposure/experience in door to door sales is advantageous

  • Prior work experience in food product sales is highly preferred

Quantity Required: 2

Duty station : Addis Ababa

Salary : Negotiable and attractive

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. 

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products.

  • Assess current market or customers need

  • Collect customer order door to door and sell and deliver products to customers

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new arrivals

  • Handle customer complaints and returns effectively

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and goal-oriented

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred.

  • Customer-oriented approach.

  • Oral and written communication

  • Time management
