MELA Chemical Product Development PLC is a diversified company engaged in manufacturing fiberglass playground equipment, waterpark components, and herbal and chemical-based products. We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Officer to join our growing team. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliations

  • Handle payroll processing, tax filings, and statutory compliance 

  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable 

  • Monitor budgets, prepare financial reports, and assist in audits 

  • Manage office administration including procurement, logistics, and documentation 

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial procedures 

  • Support HR functions including contracts, leave management, and recruitment logistics

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications -

  • BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and administration 

  • Proficient in Peachtree or other accounting software 

  • Good knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and reporting systems 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication in English and Amharic
