Job Summary
The Finance Head will be responsible for overseeing the company’s overall financial operations, reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. The role requires a strategic finance professional capable of supporting business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting
• Develop and strengthen internal control systems and financial procedures
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management
• Supervise finance team members and support staff development
• Monitor operational costs and improve financial efficiency across departments
• Support management in investment, expansion, and business decision-making processes

Qualification Requirements
• BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, or related field
• Professional certifications and/or an MBA are advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a senior finance management role
• Experience in the logistics, transport, freight forwarding, or supply chain sector is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
