Dugda Fidelity Investment Plc is a firm, which is engaged, in Foreign Exchange and licensed from National Bank of Ethiopia is looking to hire candidates to fill the following vacant position: Position Finance head

Report to: General Manager 

 N.B Experience in Finance Firm is more advantageous  

 Salary: Negotiable 

 Term of Employment: Permanent

 Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Job Summary:

Plan, organize, direct, co-ordinate, control and supervise the overall activities of the department ensures the provision of efficient services to the company’s clients and staff, ensures the preparation of regular and periodic financial reports, financial statements and other related report, responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. 

Detailed duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from the department.

• Ensure the provision of efficient companying services to the company’s clients and staff. 

• Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.

• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.

• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts

Job Requirements

 Qualification: 

• BA / BSc or MA/ MSc in Finance and Accounting or relevant fields of study.

 Experience: 

• Eight years of relevant experience of which, five years at supervisory

Job Requirements The successful candidate should possess a BA/BSc or MA/MSc Degree in Finance and Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Demonstrated ability to lead finance and accounting operations, supervise and mentor staff, prepare and analyze financial reports, ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards, manage budgets, and support strategic financial decision-making is essential.
