Finance head is a senior executive responsible for overseeing all financial operations and developing the financial strategy of a company. 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management and Strategy
•  Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement a company's financial strategies, including long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
•  Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance, profitability, and efficiency. This includes assessing the financial impact of major business decisions and providing data-driven recommendations.
•  Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying variances and trends.
Reporting and Compliance
•  Financial Reporting: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all financial reporting complies with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
•  Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, such as currency exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
•  Audits and Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure the company's financial practices are compliant with all relevant laws and standards.

Job Requirements

•  A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or master of Business or  a related field is typically a minimum of ten (10) year  experience 
•  with an advanced degree, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance.
•  Professional certifications like Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued and can be a significant advantage.
•  Proven experience in a senior financial management role is essential, with a strong track record of successful financial planning and analysis.
Skills
•  Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
•  Strategic Thinking: A commercial mindset that allows for aligning financial strategies with overarching business goals and driving profitability.
•  Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills to guide a team and the ability to clearly and confidently communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
•  Technological Proficiency: Expertise in financial software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (like SAP or Oracle), and advanced spreadsheet software.
