The incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating, establishing and maintaining financial management policies and procedures for NSPs, grants, subsidies and other funds remitted to the organization by Donors. He/she leads the Finance team to ensure timely, accurate and useful financial information production and provides technical support to Program Manager. He/she is responsible to ensure organization’s financial management is in compliance with all regulatory requirements as relating to the organization’s by- Law, financial rule and regulations of the country and donor requirements in conjunction with the Program Manager.

Required knowledge, skills and personal attributes:

• Demonstrated knowledge of donor financial regulations and polices

• Proven administrative, leadership and management experience of managing a team of Finance professionals, creating a climate of continuous improvement.

• Well versatile with advanced accounting software such as Peachtree and good application of PowerPoint and internet utilization.

• Ability to devise and implement strategic development and resource plans,

• Experience of producing complex financial accounts and managing annual audit.

• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Education and Experience Required: University degree in accounting with a minimum of 4 years relevant supervisory position work experience. NGO experience is an advantage.

Term of Employment:  One year contract with possible renewal.

Salary:   As per the scale of the organization

Place of Work: Addis Ababa
