As the name indicates, the Company produces 100% ORGANIC Liquid Fertilizer which is rich in microbes, improves soil fertility, increases the productivity and quality of the crop, and significantly cuts fertilizer costs. It has been bestowed different national and international awards including, but not limited to, “Prestigious Science Innovation Award in 2007 E.C.” from the hands of the former FDRE Prime Minister H/Mariam Desalegn, “Climate Innovation Prize in 2009 E.C” from Ethiopian Climate Innovation Centre, and “The Best Entrepreneurship of the year Award in 2015 G.C.” from UNDP.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing finance, and the ability to drive financial performance improvements across the organization.
Manage all accounting and financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Conduct cost analysis and control, particularly related to manufacturing processes, inventory, and raw materials.
Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and variance reporting.
Monitor and manage working capital, including inventory and receivables.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, and internal control requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Evaluate financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, and ACCA) is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5–7 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning.
Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
High attention to detail and integrity.
