Department: Finance and Administration
Reports To: Director of Finance
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Manager to lead and optimize financial operations across our multi-branch retail and production business. This role involves managing budgets, cost controls, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights and projections.

•  Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.

• Present reports and performance updates to senior management.

• Manage company cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.

• Oversee payments, collections, and fund transfers.

• Forecast cash requirements and optimize working capital.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.

• Ensure proper bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).

•  Ensure adherence to tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

•  Maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.

•  Analyze operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

•  Implement effective expense control procedures.

•  Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

•  Develop team capabilities through training and performance feedback.

•  Identify and assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

•  Implement and maintain accounting/ERP systems.

• Streamline financial processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 2–3 years in finance manager role.

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and audit procedures.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
