We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-oriented Finance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions through effective financial planning and analysis.

Job Summary

The Finance Officer will oversee financial planning, accounting operations, cash flow management, internal controls, financial reporting, and risk management activities of the company. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to management.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years relevant work experience in finance or accounting roles.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability.

• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer for informed decision-making.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

• Coordinate preparation and submission of tax returns and regulatory filings.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.

• Prepare cash flow projections and identify potential financial risks.

• Optimize working capital to improve financial stability and operational efficiency.

Internal Controls and Compliance

• Develop and implement effective internal control systems and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, policies, and standards.

• Conduct internal audits and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Risk Management

• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Manage company insurance programs and related financial protection measures.

• Monitor and report financial risk exposure to management. 6. Financial Reporting and Communication

• Prepare and present financial reports to the Chief Executive Officer and management team.

• Communicate financial performance, opportunities, and risks effectively to stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies
