The Finance Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization’s financial health. The role involves budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ensuring proper financial controls are in place.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.

Experience: Minimum of 1 Year

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements

• Handle daily accounting operations (payments, receipts, journal entries)

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations

• Process payroll and employee-related financial transactions

• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Familiarity with. Microsoft Excel and word, accounting software (e.g., Peachtree)
