About the Role

Lehager Consulting is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance, Compliance and Admin Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage day-to-day financial record-keeping, ensure compliance with organizational and donor requirements, and provide general administrative support in a consultancy environment.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or with related field of study.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience for Diploma holders and 3–5 years of relevant work experience for Degree holders

  • Experience working with consultancy firms is highly preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including expense tracking, invoicing, and petty cash management.

  • Support budget preparation, financial reporting, and reconciliation of accounts 

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, tax, and relevant tax and regulatory obligations.

  • Prepare and submit tax reports and declarations

  • Prepare and organize documentation for audits

  • Manage office administration tasks, including filing, procurement, and vendor coordination 

  • Support HR-related administrative tasks such as staff records and contract documentation 

  • Liaise with banks, government offices, and partner organizations as needed 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel 

  • High level of accuracy, discretion, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized professional 

  • Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential financial information 

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision 

  • Passion for working in development, consulting, or impact-driven sectors \
