Job Summary
The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company. The role ensures the accuracy of financial records, compliance with company policies and Ethiopian financial regulations, timely financial reporting, and effective supervision of finance staff. The Finance Supervisor will support management by providing reliable financial information to facilitate sound business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily accounting and finance operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Review journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial transactions.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
Ensure timely bank reconciliations and cash management.
Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies.
Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
Monitor inventory and fixed asset accounting where applicable.
Strengthen internal controls and recommend process improvements.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate finance team members.
Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
