Dessie Town Water Supply and sanitation project finance d by world bank would like to hire qualified and competertn candidates for the following positions. The Candidate should have knowledge of Governemtn of Ethiopia and world Bandk Fianced project guidelines and procedures in financial management specialist and will be responsible for the overall financial management of the UWSSP-2 project including overseeing the accounting and financial reporting system

Position: Financial Management Specialist

Duties & Responsibilites:

The specialist will be accountable to the town PMU coordinator and will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

Gets acquainted with te second UWSSP project legal documents; The PAD and PIM as well as Review and gets acquainted with the second UWSSP project implementation documents

Review the financial management manual prepare training materials and provide training to the city financial management expert on the application of the financial manual

Ensure that the program budget and disbursment schedules are updated and maintained

Provide input to the PMU quarterly report on FM

Job Requirements:

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics or in a related field of study

10/12 years or above experience out of which 5 years in the SUWSS project
