Job Summary

The Fleet Dispatch Division Manager leads NTPLC's truck dispatch operation, making sure trucks and drivers are deployed efficiently and cargo is delivered on time, safely, and at a controlled cost.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all fleet dispatch operations and the dispatch team.

• Ensure efficient utilization and deployment of trucks and drivers against cargo demand.

• Develop dispatch schedules that support timely cargo delivery and customer commitments.

• Monitor vehicle movements, trip progress, and delivery performance using GPS/fleet management systems.

• Coordinate with Operations, Fleet Planning, Maintenance, Commercial, and Safety departments.

• Monitor fleet productivity, turnaround time, idle time, fuel usage, and operational costs.

• Set and track dispatch KPIs (on-time dispatch, turnaround, utilization, trip documentation accuracy).

• Prepare periodic dispatch performance reports and recommend improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety requirements.

Job Requirements

• BA/BSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Management or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience (or 4 years with a master's degree) in fleet dispatch, transport or logistics operations.

• At least 2 years of the experience must be at supervisory or managerial level, preferably in a heavy-truck or freight transport company.
