Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Purchasing and maintaining vehicles for deliveries or deciding whether to lease or buy vehicles.

  2. Assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet and developing efficient driver schedules to maximize profits.

  3. Managing drivers so they adhere to strict schedules and registering and licensing all vehicles under their management.

  4. Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits and developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency.

  5. Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.

  6. Complying with Federal and local Transport laws and regulations and enforcing all drivers within the company

  7. Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.

  8. Facilitating the process of receiving vehicles for maintenance and post-delivery after the completion of the maintenance and regular servicing.

  9. Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.

  10. Monitoring driver behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service and analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.

  11. Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.

  12. The workers under him perform the annual objective setting and evaluations as per the Human resource manual and other internal SOPs.

Also performs related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

 degree in electromechanical, mechanical, automotive  with 4 years of experience in the filed.
