Habesha Breweries S.C. is looking for a Fleet Officer.
The Role Summary:
The Fleet officer is responsible for the servicing of all Habesha vehicles and Equipment to ensure appropriate availability, reliability, and quality of repair done and maintenance cost is controlled properly.
Result areas & responsibilities
Vehicle Service, Maintenance, and Availability
Make sure all assigned vehicles and Forklifts are serviced regularly, with the required level of quality at their assigned garages.
Check the vehicle's status before and after servicing, repair, and maintenance to ensure that work is done as per OEM standards, within the time frame, quality, and cost standards against requirements.
Ensure the availability of proper KM reading records for all Habesha vehicles and update the km reading regularly (at least monthly) to plan the next service KM.
Assist in accident reporting by being available on the phone 24/7.
Vehicle Inspection
Inspecting all company vehicles as per the standard checklist on a quarterly basis.
Organizing inspection report within a week period.
Produce weekly/monthly reports on vehicle status, fuel consumption, and service update, KM driven.
Use fleet management system to monitor driving behavior, track abuse of vehicles, and provide support when necessary.
Data record
Organizing all vehicle-related information (battery, tire, and any other spare replacement) and recording them in the vehicle history Jacket.
Manage documentation/archive of fleet-related matters including issuing/receiving documents, rental agreements, incident reports, and others.
Technical Support
Assist all Habesha vehicle users whenever they need support.
Support fleet manager in technical maintenance of all company-owned vehicles.
Technical assistance in the installation of new vehicles.
Assess driving skills
The Person:
This role is positioned at the professional level and requires an experienced in Fleet Maintenance, who will have the opportunity to develop their career further within very progressive learning and development as well as a dynamic and exciting work atmosphere.
University-level Degree or Diploma in a related field i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, and/or equivalent work experience. Ideally 3 plus years experience in a similar role with very good communication and expression ability.
