Job Summary

The Fleet Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating all fleet operations across the organization and its sister companies. The role ensures vehicles are properly maintained, compliant with regulatory requirements, efficiently utilized, and that incidents are properly managed and investigated to maintain accountability and operational safety.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in fleet management or transport operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures that all vehicles are properly maintained, compliant with regulatory requirements, and efficiently utilized to support business objectives.

• Schedules and oversees preventive maintenance, manages registrations, inspections, insurance, and licenses, and coordinates repairs, breakdown responses, and roadside assistance.

• Assigns vehicles and drivers, manages fleet systems such as repair tracking, fuel allocation, asset databases, and transport bookings, and monitors fuel usage while investigating anomalies.

• Tracks fleet expenditures against approved budgets, prepares reports on fleet costs, usage, and performance indicators, and supports annual reporting requirements.

• Properly manages incidents and carries out investigations to ensure accountability and corrective action.
