STRATEGIC PROGRAMMING AND STANDARDS
Supports the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop a national framework for the establishment of a National Chapter of the FMNR Scaling-Up Movement in Ethiopia which reflects the three core processes outlined above.
Support the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager to establish and/or strengthen a multi-stakeholder coordination mechanism at national level; and
Lead the logistical and administrative arrangements associated with organizing bi-annual multi-stakeholder meetings.
Closely work together with WVE national staff and integrate the FMNR Scaling-Up actions with existing WVE FMNR practices for wider advocacy and promotion and for building the capacity of FMNR actors

Coordination & Communication with Stakeholders
Supports the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager to mobilise diverse actors to become members of the National Chapter of the FMNR Scaling-Up movement in Ethiopia.
Facilitate the development of a joint position statement and key advocacy messages by National Chapter members; and
Facilitate the development of a joint advocacy strategy and implementation plan by National Chapter members.
Actively participate in local networks in landscape restoration to raise the profile of FMNR, the national FMNR Scaling-Up movement (i.e., the National Chapter and the CoE), and the work of WV Ethiopia
Actively participate in sector and donor networks and forums in Ethiopia to raise the profile of FMNR, the national FMNR Hub (i.e., the National Chapter and the CoE), and the work of WV Ethiopia
Better joint decisions by member organizations and advocacy for FMNR scale-up

PROGRAM QUALITY AND DESIGN MONITORING & EVALUATION
Support the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager to facilitate the development of a CRF by National Chapter members to mobilize, align and coordinate the activities and investments of diverse stakeholders around a common purpose, goals and targets; and
Support the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager to monitor progress against the CRF, including supporting the development of tools to capture required monitoring and evaluation data.
Support the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager with donor reporting, and the preparation of presentations of other external resources

RESEARCH FOR LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
Support the analysis of existing policies and legislation in Ethiopia of relevance to the scale-up of FMNR;
Facilitate the development of a joint position statement and key advocacy messages by National Chapter members; and
Facilitate the development of a joint advocacy strategy and implementation plan by National Chapter members.
Supports the FMNR Strategic Partnerships Manager to mobilize resource support from national government(s) and donors to support the implementation of the CRF and the sustainability of the national FMNR Scaling-Up movement in Ethiopia (i.e., the National Chapter and the CoE) through financial and in-kind contributions.

Academic background: A minimum of Msc degree in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Agricultural Development, Rural Development, international development or related fields.
Experience in program/business development and resource mobilization (minimum of 10 years)
Significant experience in stakeholder engagement and advocacy, with demonstrated experience in developing partnerships and networks with multi-sectoral actors
Experience organizing and facilitating multi-stakeholder events/workshops/meetings
Experiencing supporting diverse stakeholders to identify and implement shared solutions
Experience in landscape restoration, NRM and/or agriculture considered an advantage
Experience in project management and/or monitoring and evaluation considered an advantage
