Position:
Organization: Golden Tulip Addis Ababa Hotel
Ensure Outstanding customer care at all times.
Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations.
Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
Uses suggestive sellingtechniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue.
Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front deskteam members to ensure a quality operation.
Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
Adhere to company credit limit / floor limit
Allocate rooms to expected arrivalsafter checking the guest’s preferences and special requests.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager and or the General Manager.
Education :From accredited hotel institute first degree in Hotel Management/ Hotel & Tourism Management/ Hotel Supervision.
Work Experience and required skills: At least 4 years of work experience in front office operations, in 4 or 5 star Hotel or 6 years work experience in front office operations in 4 or 5 star Hotel. Have good communication skills, attention to detail, Team player and Computer literacy are vital to the Position. Competent skill of operating OPERA PMS (Property Management System) is a plus.
