Role Summary

AeTrade Group is recruiting qualified technology professionals to support the development and deployment of AeTrust, a digital financial services platform designed to advance financial inclusion, digital inclusion, MSME empowerment, secure payments, and sustainable business growth.

AeTrust will support wallet services, merchant payments, digital onboarding, KYC workflows, payment integrations, operational dashboards, and future integration with AeTrade Group’s wider ecosystem, including Sokokuu and AeLearning.

We are seeking professionals who can build secure, scalable, reliable, and user-centered digital financial products for high-trust and high-impact use cases.

AeTrade Group is seeking a Frontend Engineer / Mid-Senior for the AeTrust platform. The successful candidate will build and maintain web applications, admin dashboards, internal operational tools, reconciliation views, review workflows, and customer-facing web interfaces.

The role requires the ability to deliver secure, responsive, data-intensive, and user-friendly interfaces for a financial technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain web applications and internal tools using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Develop admin and operations dashboards for customer management, transaction review, reconciliation, KYC review, reporting, and support workflows.

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, including REST and gRPC-gateway services.

• Build secure and reliable user experiences for sensitive financial and operational data.

• Work from and help evolve a shared design system.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, mobile engineers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and operations teams.

• Build responsive interfaces that work across different devices and user environments.

• Ensure frontend performance, accessibility, reliability, and maintainability.

• Support future extension of frontend practices across AeTrade Group products.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Experience building production-grade customer-facing web applications and internal/admin tools.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.

• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, REST contracts, or gRPC-gateway integrations.

• Experience with authentication, session handling, authorization, and secure data presentation.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, forms, tables, filters, and dashboard workflows.

• Ability to work with design systems and implement consistent UI components.

Preferred Experience

• Experience building data-intensive admin dashboards.

• Experience with reconciliation, review, approval, compliance, KYC, payment, wallet, or fintech workflows.

• Experience with financial applications or sensitive-data systems.

• Familiarity with role-based access controls and audit-oriented UI requirements.
