Job Requirement

Education: Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field with relevant work experience.

Professional Certification: ACCA or CPA

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or divisional leadership role 

• Strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on ERP experience; import/LC exposure is a major advantage

Quantity Required: 1

Salary: 9,9913.79 ETB Gross salary

Language: Amharic is mandatory and knowledge of other language is advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Own the general ledger, month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement  preparation 

• Lead import and landed-cost accounting, including LC settlement, forex and customs  cost allocation 

• Ensure full compliance with tax obligations (VAT, withholding, profit tax) and manage  external audit 

• Design and enforce accounting policies, internal controls and documentation standards 

• Lead, coach and appraise the accounting team against BSC and OKR targets
