The General Manager is the chief executive responsible for setting and steering the overall strategic direction and operational performance of the company. The GM oversees financial health, business growth, customer satisfaction, and internal team leadership while ensuring alignment with the Board's vision.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement annual business plans and long-term strategies.
Financial & Operational Management: Supervise budgets, pricing strategies, and cost-effective practices.
Sales & Business Development: Drive customer acquisition, retention, and market expansion.
Partnerships: Build relationships with local/international stakeholders and negotiate contracts.
Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture and staff development.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of senior management experience, with a background in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
Proven expertise in strategic planning, financial acumen, and stakeholder management.
Fluent in English and Amharic (written and spoken).
