The General Manager (GM) will provide overall leadership and strategic direction to ensure operational excellence, financial sustainability, and business growth. The GM will oversee all company functions, lead cross-departmental teams, strengthen partnerships, and ensure alignment with the company's mission of delivering exceptional moving and logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of the company's business strategies and annual plans.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive sales, marketing, and business development initiatives to expand market reach.
• Ensure financial health through sound budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring.
• Foster partnerships with government offices, clients, and international logistics partners.
• Build and maintain a high-performing, customer-focused team culture.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and company policies.
• Represent the company in strategic meetings, forums, and public engagements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 8 years and above of experience in a senior management or leadership role.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, operations, Reporting to Board, and financial management.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Amharic (written and spoken).
