Accu-Tech Diagnostic Center is a joint venture diagnostic laboratory organized and existing under the laws of Ethiopia. It is a business firm that addresses unmet health needs, market demands, and social and environmental problems of a society and community at large. It uses a state-of-the-art laboratory facility equipped with the latest technologies to provide accurate, reliable and timely patient results with reasonable pricing model. This JV Diagnostic Laboratory Center (JV DLC) was established and operated under the Joint Venture Engagement of Millennium Healthcare Enterprise and Retina Pharmaceuticals. It strives to maximize reasonable revenues while also maximizing positive health impacts on the community and the environment. The JV DLC will offer a comprehensive range of services for patients, researchers and academicians and will contribute to meet the unmet need of the healthcare system in the country.

The Content Creator is responsible for developing, writing, and producing engaging and informative content across various platforms to attract, engage, and retain audiences. This role requires creativity, strong writing and communication skills, an understanding of different content formats, and the ability to tailor content to specific target audiences and channels. The Content Creator will collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Development & Creation:

    • Researching industry-related topics and identifying audience needs and gaps in our content.

    • Generating creative ideas and concepts for various content formats (e.g., blog posts, articles, social media updates, website copy, video scripts, email newsletters, infographics, presentations, case studies, white papers, podcasts).

    • Writing clear, concise, engaging, and grammatically correct content that adheres to brand voice and style guidelines.

    • Adapting writing style and tone to suit different platforms and target audiences.

    • Creating compelling headlines and calls-to-action.

    • Developing storyboards and outlines for video and other visual content.

    • Producing basic visual content (e.g., social media graphics, simple infographics) may be required depending on skills and team structure.

  • Content Planning & Strategy:

    • Contributing to the development of content calendars and strategies.

    • Understanding SEO principles and incorporating relevant keywords into content.

    • Staying up-to-date on content trends, platform best practices, and competitor content.

    • Analyzing content performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.

    • Collaborating with the marketing team to align content with marketing campaigns and objectives.

  • Content Distribution & Promotion:

    • Assisting with the distribution and promotion of content across various channels.

    • Adapting content for different platforms (e.g., social media snippets for blog posts).

    • Engaging with online communities and responding to comments and messages.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Working closely with designers, videographers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality content.

    • Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.

    • Communicating effectively with the marketing team and other stakeholders.

    • Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing creative ideas.

  • Content Maintenance & Updates:

    • Reviewing and updating existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

    • Repurposing content for different formats and platforms.

  • Performance Tracking & Analysis:

    • Monitoring and analyzing content performance using relevant metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement rates, leads).

    • Identifying trends and insights to inform future content creation.

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating video scripts and/or basic video editing skills.

  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Understanding of content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics).

  • Experience in [relevant industry/niche].

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms.

  • Experience with podcast creation and editing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications/Journalism 3-5 years of experience.

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.   

  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling.

  • Understanding of different content formats and their best practices.

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research.

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (social media, email, website).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.   

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, social media platforms, basic graphic design tools).
