About the Role:
We are looking for a Hatchery Cost Accountant to manage and report on cost transactions, including purchases, production, and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation of costs across our hatchery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and reconcile all purchases (raw materials, supplies, medicines, vaccines) and finished goods.
Maintain accurate cost sheets and unit production cost calculations.
Ensure supplier invoices are complete and accurate before processing.
Reconcile stock counts, production records, and hatching reports.
Prepare cost, variance, and reconciliation reports regularly.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Competencies:
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Qualifications & Experience:
BA in Accounting or Finance.
2– 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
