About the Role: 
We are looking for a Hatchery Cost Accountant to manage and report on cost transactions, including purchases, production, and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation of costs across our hatchery operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Record and reconcile all purchases (raw materials, supplies, medicines, vaccines) and finished goods. 

  • Maintain accurate cost sheets and unit production cost calculations. 

  • Ensure supplier invoices are complete and accurate before processing. 

  • Reconcile stock counts, production records, and hatching reports. 

  • Prepare cost, variance, and reconciliation reports regularly. 

  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

Competencies: 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • BA in Accounting or Finance. 

  • 2– 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
