Job Summary
The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing the overall HR function, ensuring that human capital strategies support the organization's business objectives. The role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, compliance, and organizational development. The Head of HR serves as a strategic partner to leadership while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
Advise senior management on workforce planning, organizational structure, and people-related matters.
Lead initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement, and productivity.
Develop and monitor HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain high-quality talent.
Develop workforce planning strategies to address current and future staffing needs.
Oversee onboarding and employee integration programs.
Establish employer branding initiatives to strengthen talent attraction.
Performance Management
Design and oversee performance management systems and processes.
Ensure performance objectives are aligned with organizational goals.
Support managers in conducting performance reviews and employee development discussions.
Monitor employee performance trends and recommend improvement initiatives.
Learning & Development
Identify organizational training and development needs.
Develop leadership development and succession planning programs.
Promote continuous learning and professional growth opportunities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and development initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster positive employee relations and a healthy work environment.
Manage grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Lead employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives.
Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.
Oversee compensation and benefits structures to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
Manage employee benefits programs and vendor relationships.
Ensure payroll processes are accurate and compliant.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Oversee HR systems, reporting, and data management.
Conduct HR audits and ensure risk mitigation measures are in place.
Lead organizational change management initiatives.
Support leadership in improving organizational effectiveness.
Drive succession planning and talent management strategies.
Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing programs.
Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team.
Establish departmental goals and monitor performance.
Manage relationships with external service providers and consultants.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is an advantage.
Professional HR certifications are highly desirable.
Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive HR experience.
At least 3–5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
Experience managing multiple HR functions and leading HR teams.
Experience supporting organizational growth and change management initiatives.
