Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general direction and guidance of the Head, Holding Legal Service, Tamrin Investment Holding Company, the major functions entrusted to the Senior, Holding Legal Services include, but are not limited to the following:

• Planning, Coordinating and controlling the legal counseling  and litigation  activities of the Holding Company and its subsidiary companies;

• Handling and coordinating the overall legal activities of the Investment Holding Company;

• Providing advice to functional units of the Holding Company and subsidiary companies on high level legal matters concerning their operation;

• Drafting contractual documents, guidelines and directives that bear legal effects and commitments on the company;

• Representing the company before courts of law and administrative tribunals in all civil, commercial and criminal cases arising from business transactions.

• Handling all claims of the company against third parties for money owed arising from contractual obligations;

• Interpreting relevant legislations that might affect company operations;

• Revising when necessary, existing contracts, standard formats and other legal instruments.

• Preparing pleadings of claims, defenses, petitions and appeal on complex cases;

• Studying and presenting ways to avoid /minimize litigations;

• Facilitating negotiations and settlements outside of the courtroom through mediation and arbitration;

• Consulting and supporting user work units and employees on matters of management information system;

• Performing other related activities.

Job Requirements

• From recognized university/college first degree in Law, 7 years related work experience, out of which 3 years in senior legal advisory services
