Brief Description: The HR & Admin Manager is directly reporting to the CEO of the company. As HR and Administration Manager we expect from him/her to ensure our operations run smoothly and improve as our company grows. He/she will be instrumental in the faultless running of the entire organization and will help us keep our people happy and productive.
All the HR and administrative functions will be under your authority, and you will make sure your team delivers perfect service to the company and its staff. We are looking for a strategist, a hands-on leader, and an exemplary manager. You will oversee a professional team of specialists and ensure they deliver outstanding results to the company
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, controls and manages the overall activities of HR and Admin Department.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Managing recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures
Overseeing the payroll function
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities

Maintain pay plan and benefits program
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Managing employee relations
Running the office and facilities management functions
Performs other similar duties as and when assigned to him / her by immediate supervisor.
All other duties as required or needed.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with 9 years of HR experience, including 3 years in a managerial role in a reputable private company;
Master’s degree in HRM, MBA, or a related field with 7 years of relevant HR experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.

Note: Experience years are counted post-graduation for the stated degrees.
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office and HR-related software applications
Knowledge of Ethiopian Labor Law, Federal Civil Servant Law, and related legislation
Familiarity with various HR policies, procedures, and practices in Ethiopia

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
