ALSAM PLC is launching the BiC Cristal Pen Manufacturing Factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and invites qualified, experienced, and competent professionals to join its technical and production team.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Quality Management or with related field of study
• Professional certification in ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 is an advantage.
• Preferred training in Quality Assurance (QA)

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE and Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment, including at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing, preferably in pen production or other precision plastic products.
• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining HSE and Quality Management Systems in accordance with Ethiopian regulations and international standards.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO 9001, 09 ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (injection molding, extrusion, etc.)
• Leadership, auditing, risk assessment, and problem- solving skills.
• Good communication, reporting, and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools.
