The Challenge

You will lead HC and GS operations in a dynamic factory where every day brings new challenges. From talent crises to facility emergencies, you’ll be the anchor ensuring smooth operations while advancing our strategic growth. We need a leader who doesn’t just manage stress—they conquer it.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct HC/GS teams through high-stakes recruitment, employee relations conflicts, and urgent administrative demands.

  • Resolve real-time operational bottlenecks (e.g., shift coverage gaps, facility breakdowns, security incidents).

  • Overhaul performance management to retain top talent in a demanding manufacturing environment.

  • Design stress-resilience programs and engagement initiatives tailored for factory staff.

  • Streamline leave tracking, attendance, and compliance under tight deadlines.

  • Optimize facilities, security, transportation, and vendor management with crisis-ready protocols.

  • Support rapid scaling for new production lines or expansions—no room for error.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR, Business Admin, or related field.

  • 5+ years in HR/GS leadership in manufacturing, FMCG, or heavy-operations settings.

  • Proven Battle Scars:

  • Managed union negotiations, mass recruitment, or facility emergencies.

  • Reduced turnover in high-attrition environments.

Skills That Matter:

  • Decisive under stress: Prioritize like a surgeon during a 8-hour shift.

  • Labor law expertise: Ethiopian regulations, grievance handling, compliance.

  • Tech agility: HRIS (Odoo), Excel (pivot tables, macros), and data-driven reporting.
