Getnet Belachew Importer is seeking a proactive Human Resource Officer to manage recruitment, employee relations, performance, and other HR functions.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes—draft job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate orientation.
Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation (e.g., contracts, leave records).
Administer payroll and benefits in collaboration with Finance.
Support performance management: assist in goal-setting, conduct evaluations, and help with improvement plans.
Facilitate training and development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and foster positive workplace relations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field)
Experience: 2+ years in HR or related administrative roles, preferably in import/distribution or similar industries.
Solid understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
Strong ethical standards and confidentiality
