Position: Human Resources Manager - Group Level

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (with occasional travel)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across our diversified investment portfolio including agriculture, high-tech smart card manufacturing, bottled water production, and other ventures. The ideal candidate will bridge our Ethiopia operations with Dubai headquarters, implementing unified HR strategies while ensuring local compliance and organizational excellence.
1. Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement group-wide HR strategies aligned with business objectives
Serve as strategic HR advisor to Ethiopia General Manager and Dubai HQ
Lead organizational development across diverse business units
Implement performance management systems group-wide
2. Talent Management & Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for senior and technical positions
Develop talent acquisition strategies for specialized roles (agriculture experts, smart card engineers, production managers)
Implement succession planning and leadership development programs
Oversee employer branding across multiple industries
3. HR Operations & Compliance
Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation structures across all entities
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and international standards
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Maintain HRIS and personnel records
4. Employee Relations & Development
Handle complex employee relations matters across diverse workforce
Implement training and development programs tailored to different industries
Foster positive work culture across multiple locations
Manage disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution
5. Cross-Cultural & International HR
Bridge communication between Ethiopia operations and Dubai headquarters
Manage expatriate assignments and international staff transfers
Implement diversity and inclusion initiatives
Coordinate with HR teams across different business units

Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Master's degree or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) preferred
Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years progressive HR experience
Minimum 3 years in senior HR management role
Experience in manufacturing/industrial settings required
Multi-industry experience (agriculture, manufacturing, technology preferred)
Experience working with international/multinational organizations
Language Requirements:
Arabic: Fluent (verbal and written) - MANDATORY
English: Fluent (verbal and written) - MANDATORY
Amharic: Professional proficiency preferred
