The ICT Department Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s information and communication technology systems. This role ensures seamless IT operations, robust cybersecurity measures, and alignment with business objectives. The manager leads the IT team, manages infrastructure, and enforces security policies to safeguard data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of hardware, software, and network systems.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT services.

1. Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

• Monitor threats, respond to incidents, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

1. Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering skill development and operational efficiency.

• Coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

1. Strategic Planning & Budgeting:

• Align IT strategy with business goals, recommending technology improvements.

• Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.

1. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:

• Maintain and test backup solutions and disaster recovery plans.

• Minimize downtime and data loss risks.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience, including 4+ years in Managerial roles 

• Proven experience in IT management and cybersecurity.

• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or ITIL are a plus.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
