Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and manage all import-related documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations, and permits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to facilitate timely shipment and customs clearance of imports.

  • Follow up on the status of letters of credit (LC), foreign exchange approvals, and shipment documents to ensure on-time receipt and processing.

  • Verify shipping documents and freight details against purchase orders and contracts to avoid discrepancies.

  • Monitor compliance with import regulations, customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreements.

  • Maintain accurate records of import transactions, documentation, and correspondence for auditing and reporting purposes.

  • Liaise with internal departments such as procurement, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth receipt and inspection of imported goods.

  • Assist in resolving any issues related to import documentation, customs clearance, or shipment delays.

  • Apply for necessary import permits, licenses, and certificates in coordination with regulatory agencies.

Job Requirement

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or in a related field of study with relevant work experience

  • Experience: 3+ years
