Prepare, review, and manage all import-related documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations, and permits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to facilitate timely shipment and customs clearance of imports.
Follow up on the status of letters of credit (LC), foreign exchange approvals, and shipment documents to ensure on-time receipt and processing.
Verify shipping documents and freight details against purchase orders and contracts to avoid discrepancies.
Monitor compliance with import regulations, customs laws, tariffs, and trade agreements.
Maintain accurate records of import transactions, documentation, and correspondence for auditing and reporting purposes.
Liaise with internal departments such as procurement, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth receipt and inspection of imported goods.
Assist in resolving any issues related to import documentation, customs clearance, or shipment delays.
Apply for necessary import permits, licenses, and certificates in coordination with regulatory agencies.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or in a related field of study with relevant work experience
