Organization: National Election Board of Ethiopia
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referenda, and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its institutional strength with a special focus on the enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for the Intern Position who meet the following requirements.

Duty station: NEBE Headquarters, Addis Ababa
Duration: 4 months
Salary: A Stipend to cover some costs
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to support our HR functions. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in documentation, filing, and recruitment support. The intern will play a key role in ensuring temporary and permanent staff complete all necessary onboarding procedures and documentation.
Assist in organizing and maintaining employee files and administrative records
Support the documentation and filing of recruitment-related paperwork
Ensure temporary staff sign employment contracts and submit required documents
Track and follow up on missing or incomplete recruitment files
Help prepare onboarding kits and documentation packages
Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to streamline document collection
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior internship or volunteer experience in HR or administration is a plus
