Job Summary

the Internal Audit Manager is responsible for developing, designing and executing the audit service required to ensure effective risk management, internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Internal Audit Manager ensures that company policies, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements are properly followed.

Job Requirements

Education:

• BA/MBA/MA in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and equivalent

Experience:

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in internal control, auditing, accounting and finance, 4 years of which must be in internal audit senior positions preferably in PLC.

• Proven working experience in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, management principles and preferred business practices 

• Proven working experience as Internal Auditor/Senior Auditor in PLC business environment.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management, and control frameworks.

• Working knowledge and strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting standards.

• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and database

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently, and sound independent judgment 

• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
