Job Summary:

An internal auditor evaluates a company's financial records, internal controls, and daily operations to ensure legal compliance, risk management, and efficiency. Core responsibilities include planning audit procedures, analyzing financial data, and writing objective reports for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Audits: Plan and execute risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Evaluate Controls: Assess the strength and efficiency of internal company procedures and risk management.
• Report Findings: Prepare clear documents and present audit results with actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure Compliance: Monitor adherence to federal, state, and industry regulations.
• Follow Up: Conduct follow-up tests to ensure the company properly fixes identified control weaknesses
• Planning and Conducting Audits: Develop audit plans, perform audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports that summarize findings, highlight risk areas, and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigating Issues: Conduct investigations into discrepancies, fraud, or governance issues as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with management and various departments to align audit activities with organizational goals.
• Follow-Up: Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
