The International Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in international markets, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and ensuring the company meets its revenue and growth objectives.
General Duties:
The general duties of the International Sales Representative include working closely with the International Sales Lead, Market research and BPO team to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s business goals, focusing on international markets. This includes market analysis, lead generation, client engagement, and driving revenue growth through successful sales strategies.
Collaborate with the Market research team to conduct market research to identify new international business opportunities and emerging markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations and industries.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to clients’ needs.
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring terms align with company policies and profit margins.
Provide clients with post-sales support and maintain ongoing relationships to foster repeat business.
Track and report sales performance metrics to the International Sales Lead, providing actionable insights.
Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote the company’s brand and products.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in international sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets in.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships across diverse markets.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
Familiarity with sales cycle processes.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel internationally to meet clients and attend events.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
