Location: Ethiopia (Addis Ababa, Bole Helzer Tower 8th Floor)

Reports To: IT Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Officer to support our IT operations and contribute to the development and maintenance of our digital systems. The ideal candidate will provide basic networking and IT maintenance support, assist the IT team in daily operations, and contribute strong graphic design and website development skills to support the company’s branding and online presence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• IT & Technical Support

• Support the IT team in basic networking tasks (LAN/Wi-Fi setup, troubleshooting connectivity issues).

• Perform routine maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.

• Assist in installing, configuring, and updating software and operating systems.

• Provide first-level IT support to staff and respond to technical issues in a timely manner.

• Ensure proper handling and security of IT assets.

• Website Development & Maintenance

• Assist in the development, updating, and maintenance of company websites.

• Ensure websites are functional, responsive, and up-to-date.

• Support basic backend or CMS management (WordPress or similar platforms).

• Work closely with management to improve website content and user experience.

• Graphic Design & Digital Content

• Design marketing and promotional materials (banners, posters, social media graphics, brochures, etc.).

• Support branding and visual identity across digital platforms.

• Edit and optimize images and basic video content for websites and social media.

General Duties

• Collaborate with other departments to support IT and digital needs.

• Document IT procedures and technical issues when required.

• Stay updated with basic IT, design, and web development trends.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of computer networking and IT maintenance.

• Practical experience in graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools).

• Experience in website development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or similar).

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Preferred Skills (Advantage)

• Experience with React, Next.js, or modern web frameworks.

• Knowledge of server management or cloud platforms.

• Basic video editing skills.

• Previous experience in a corporate or multi-department environment.
