We are seeking a highly competent, proactive, and hands-on IT & Office Systems Administrator with at least 5 years of experience in office IT maintenance and infrastructure support.

The ideal candidate will manage and maintain the organization’s entire office technology environment including network infrastructure, computers, email systems, file management systems, printers, and security controls — ensuring smooth, secure, and uninterrupted daily operations. This role requires strong technical capability, independence, and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Connectivity Management

  • Administer and maintain office LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity

  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points

  • Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic network segmentation

  • Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues

  • Coordinate with telecom providers for internet and phone services

  • Troubleshoot DNS-related issues and internal network conflicts

System Administration & Infrastructure

 

  • Administer Active Directory (user creation, group policies, permissions)

  • Manage company email systems

  • Maintain file servers, shared folders, and permission structures

  • Configure and manage network printers and shared resources

  • Implement and monitor backup systems to ensure data integrity

  • Maintain system documentation and access control records

Computer & Hardware Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, printers, laptops, and peripherals

  • Install, configure, and maintain POS (Point-of-Sale) machines and related systems

  • Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and troubleshooting

  • Manage OS installation, patching, and updates

  • Track and manage software licenses

  • Maintain IT asset inventory

  • Troubleshoot and maintain printers, scanners, and multifunction devices

  • Manage printer drivers, queues, and user access

  • Monitor supplies and coordinate vendor maintenance when necessary

User Support & Training

Provide first-line and second-line IT support to office staff

  • Train POS user agents regularly.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues

  • Train employees on system usage and IT best practices

  • Communicate system updates and planned maintenance clearly

Security & Preventive Maintenance

  • Implement basic network and endpoint security measures

  • Ensure antivirus and endpoint protection are up to date

  • Perform regular system updates and preventive maintenance

  • Monitor systems proactively to identify and mitigate risks

  • Support basic firewall configuration and security policies

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in office IT maintenance or system administration

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

 Active Directory (user/group management, permissions) DNS configuration and troubleshooting

  Email systems administration (Office 365 / Google Workspace) File management systems and shared drives

  Basic network configuration (routers, switches, DHCP, IP addressing)

  • Strong knowledge of Windows client and server environments

  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance

  • Familiarity with printer and peripheral management

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and user support skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ Certification (Highly Preferred)

  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification

  • Experience with VoIP phone systems

  • Knowledge of data backup solutions and cybersecurity fundamentals

Work Environment

  • On-site role

  • Hands-on position involving both desk-based and physical equipment tasks

  • May require occasional after-hours support for urgent issues
