MewaQir Structures Studio is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in structural analysis, design, drafting coordination, report preparation, and site-related engineering activities under the supervision of senior engineers.

Job Requirements

Education

✦  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

✦  Graduation from a recognised Ethiopian or international university

✦  Fresh graduates are welcome — 0 years of experience required

Software Skills — ★ Mandatory

The following software skills are non-negotiable. Applications without demonstrated proficiency in all three will not be considered.

★  ETABS — structural analysis and design of multi-storey buildings [MANDATORY]

★  SAFE — slab and foundation analysis and design  [CONSIDERABLE]

★  SAP2000 — general structural analysis  [CONSIDERABLE]

Additional Software (Advantageous)

✦  AutoCAD — basic drawing and coordination

✦  Microsoft Excel — calculation sheets and data organisation

✦  Microsoft Word — report writing

 

Job Requirements Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering from a recognized Ethiopian or international university.
